- الفتيل، وهو: الخيط الذي في شق التمرة. (النساء: 49)
- النقير، وهو: النقطة المنقورة في ظهر النواة. (النساء:53)
- القطمير، وهو: القشرة الرقيقة بين النواة والتمرة. (فاطر:13)
